FAQs

Q - What are the school hours?

A - Parents can bring their kids starting at 7:30. The tardy bell rings at 7:55 am. The afternoon bell rings at 3 pm for buses and car riders.  Normal office operating hours are from 7:30am- 3:30pm on school days.
 

Q - What's the school's uniform policy?

Q - What school fees are parents responsible to pay each year?

A - There is a $20 Technology User Fee for all Cleveland County Middle School Students; and Shelby Middle collects a $2 locker fee.
 

Q - Can school fees, yearbook fees or field trip fees be paid online?

A - There is an online portal where most of those fees can be paid (Online School Payments).   There is also a separate site for school lunch fee payments.
